Tapestry

At Muddy Boots we use Tapestry, an online journal which documents each individual childs' learning journey throughout their time with us.

Our keyworkers upload observations and wow moments half termly. This allows staff to be present in daily moments, rather than continually on devices. Staff document significant interactions and how our staff have supported and facilitated individual learning.

Parents and Carers are emailed an activation link in order to register and log in to their own account. Once activated parents can access the journal via and internet browser or they can download the Tapestry app. from their app store. 

Parents are then able to add comments to the observation, allowing for a 2 way communication with staff. They are also able to add their own observations/wow moments. This provides a good insight for staff into childrens' home lives, they can look at photos together, and share memories and experiences. 

Each childs' learning journey is made available as a pdf download when a child leaves us to continue their learning journey.
